I started working on this collection of poems over the summer, without really knowing where it was going. As I kept writing, a common theme unfolded - a sense of optimism, progress, and unity that I think challenges the popular social consciousness.
Yet this broad theme comes from my own personal growth. As the collection evolves, I want to write poems from the heart that mean something to me but can still extend a universal sense of what it is to be human today in our world. These are my Poems from Rivard Street.
